Alexandria 'Alex' Holland

Alexandria Holland or Alex has been playing music as long as she can remember. She is primarily a singer but picked up the guitar when she was about 13 years old but never taken her guitar playing to the next level but just simple chords.

Alex usually more at home playing in a band, but she sometimes managed to write her own songs. She has been playing at Dubai Lime’s open mic for a couple of months now.Over the years she had learned to appreciate all genres of music. So, although she loves to listen to metal bands but she appreciates jazz, blues, rock, country and other kind of music.

Her music influence are Floor Jansen from After Forever, Tori  Amos, Sharon del Adel from within Temptation and Amy Lee. Her favorite bands are Opeth, Dissection, Aesma Daeva, To-Mera and Nightwish.

Alex has a band in Dubai called Gorthall.
