 Danny thinks he is literally playing music as soon as he learned how to speak and he could not remember the last time he first picked up a guitar. However, he remember the first song that he learned to play which was La Bamba.
His list of influences is to long to fit on the this page since he listens to all, from Abba to Zappa. But his secret favorite is Skid Row. Danny is from Canada who lives in Dubai for six years or so and his life is the envy of everyone as he call himself a cover muso who live comfortably without a "real job". He made a career out of playing music and he is all over town playing in various pubs, clubs and other random events. His music toys that keep him going include; a marshall avt50 amp. a laney ck165 amp., loads of effects pedals, 2 acoustics and electric guitars, 2-300wt behringer speakers and a yorkville 10channel mixer and many more.
But the most important things in his life are his family, friends and a good guitar. If not doing his job as a musician, Danny dream to be Spiderman, he would be a photographer by daytime and fight crimes at night, this is of course absurd but he thinks he really meant to play music since he had done so many day jobs but ended up quitting them.
Being in Dubai for six years the best thing he learned is making a career out of playing music. However, when writing original music his creativity depends on the environment. He was in sweden for a month and managed to write four songs. He writes according to mood it seems, he finds it easier to write if something affects him,lyrics wise. He wrote a song about leaving his town in Canada, that's where his head was at that time. If you listen to his lyrics, you'll sort of live a moment of his life. The most important lesson that he could share to everyone; " I believe there's a little "you" inside you that whispers advice to you, always follow that voice, if I hadn't listened I never would have answered an ad in a magazine, or had the courage to packed up and leave the security of Canada to come to the Middle East. The "voice" is usually right. (with the exception of a few "drinks", then the voice is just silly!)".
