Jazz and Blues live bands in Dubai are not dead as some would say that Jazz and Blues are only for yesterdays. We can still find these bands in town, playing in restaurants, bar, night clubs and even in our original music in Dubai. Before we will tell you where are the hottest Jazz and Blues venues in Dubai, we are going to talk a little bit about this kind of music.

Many would ask which came first, Jazz or Blues? Sometimes this is just like saying, which came first the egg or the chicken? However, there is always some sort of explanation. Around the start of 20th century somewhere in New Orleans, United States, another kind of music was born mostly by using some instruments used in a marching bands and dance bands, like brass, reeds and drums. The music was then later called Jazz, but the origin of the name, why thy called this particular kind of music jazz was uncertain.

The same with everything, may it be technolgy or new inventions, people always like to improvised, therefore early blues was commonly structured around jazz music. However, this is just part of the jazz and blues stories because we cannot really categorized such music into two different cups, since any kind of music rather, is a product of improvisations and adaptation of various mainstream.
