I wanted to check out one of these but was a bit weary of doing so. No nitro! Worn Cherry! There was no way I was going to like this. Man I was flat out wrong! The worn finish did feel a little strange at first, after all I was used to the traditional nitro feel on the neck. It took all of 30 seconds to get over that, now it feels just as good than any of the other near 20 LPs' I've owned over the years. Some folks say the Burstbuckers can be shrill, not mine! I have a nice rich, smooth sound that has just a pinch more output than your typical PAF clone (I'm not swapping pickups in this one). The natural finish has a real vintage-y feel to it. It kind of reminds me of the old "The Paul" models offered in the late '70s-early '80s. It's very well built but the fret ends do need just a little bit of filing, but it's not bad. Setup was right on which was suprising, and the guitar stays in tune quite well. My only gripe (and I'm really searching here) is that there is a little of the cherry finish by a few of the fret ends. But I'm sure when I file the ends that will come off. The case is nice too, it's the regular LP case that comes with the higher end models. In short, I wanted to not like this, but wound up actually loving this guitar. I have no plans to mod this, as it needs nothing. This will be the first LP that I've owned which needs nothing, it's fine the way it is. My only regret is that I didn't get the brown one, but the way this plays & sounds takes the sting of that away.

This is an amazing guitar! I"ve gone to the local guitar shop every weekend for the last 2 months to play this baby! I've been saving for months just for this axe. Crystal clear to sweet distortion, this guitar has got it all. The solid body and the humbuckers give this guitar the sweetest sound I've heard on a low price guitar yet. Must buy to any guitarist!!!

WOW!!! I have owned a lot of lower end guitars. So this is the nicest one I have ever owned. Definitely worth the money. The tone is very versatile, and the sustain. You can hit a note and fall asleep wake up and it still is ringing. Solid Mahogany Body< Nice. I personally like the finish (or lack of) It looks good and makes it a lot lighter. Which personally I prefer. If your thinking your not gonna get the real deal. Think again CuZ this is the real deal.

I have to admit that I was a little leary about what this guitar would turn out to be but when I opened the shipping crate the guitar was in I was relieved to see that it had a high quality hard case. When I opened the hard case I found a beautiful " Worn Wood " USA Les Paul. The finish in spots was a little rough but it was supposed to be-hence " Worn Wood ". The tone quality was wonderful. Nice warm sounds of a Les Paul. Worth every dime spent and worth much more than I paid. Thanks!!!!!!!

If you're interested in the Gibson LP's, this is an excellent guitar to go with. Definitely worth more than what you're paying. The case is unbelievable. The tone qualtiy, look of the guitar, everything about this is just perfect in my opinion. Very clear tone makes this a very clear choice.
