Pro Tools and Logic |
|
"There has always been a war in the audio industry. The war between the different recording techniques and the different recording software. No war is more famous than the war between Pro Tools and Logic. Pro Tools is the famous recoding software made by Digidesign and Logic is another famous recording software made by Apple.
Logic is a great program. Not as easy to navigate through but it is not that bad. It just a gets a little annoying. It a very good program to use in the studio and at home too. Logic, once you start getting into its core, is not as easy to master as Pro Tools. It is a great program for getting creative with your audio. It has some really great standard plug-ins. The downside to Logic is the price. It is a very expensive piece of software, but you are not limited to what hardware you can use". Some people prefer Pro Tools and some people prefer Logic. There are loads of people who use both. It is all up to you and what program you are comfortable with. Try both of them and see which one you like better. Personally I use both, but I like Pro Tools better. If you have any question to Liam you may write him at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Audio Industry is not so complicated as the music business or industry. However, according to Liam Ruddell, Audio and Production Engineer of Lime Green Entertainment, there has been a war going on audio industry. Let's hear from him what is this war all about:
Pro Tools is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It has a very simple lay out and design. It is great for mixing. It is great for recording and editing at home or in the studio. It is just plainly a very good and very easy program to get used to and master. Plus it quite cheap. The only downside is that if you use Pro Tools, you are limited to using HD, LE or M-Powered products.
